that area is one of the wealthiest parts of the country. I doubt anyones going to damage your bentley or any other luxury car for that matter if its parked safely. don't be surprised if you see exotics driving around as well, that area is $$

^^I don't recall where she was from. I just remember her asking about the condos next to the motel.
Glad to hear you're making the move.
I don't think you'll look odd in your car, and with garage parking it should be kept pretty safe I should think.

Two separate questions. You will not be the only one driving one so you will not stick out any more than anyone else driving a $300,000 car. If it's a sedate color maybe not as much. As far as safety goes, I would assume you have indoor parking so overnite should not be an issue. There are places in Chicago, just as there are in LA where you can't park a Yugo. Normal precautions should keep your car safe elsewhere.

Aside from sloppy winter weather and boring, flat, straight, slow roads, Chic is a rather civilized place to drive any high-end car for daily commuting around Loop/GoldCst...biggest hassle vs CA is having winter tires/wheels installed and storing summer perf tires...
Would also target GoldCoast pkg garages of condos (and office pkg garages) based upon spaciousness of reserved pkg slots to avoid door dings...some office pkg garages in Loop have hand car washes inside, so car can be detailed while one is in office...very useful during the winter when car will be salt-covered frequently...
Would use Horseless Carriage to ship car...they routinely deliver new Ferraris and many far more valuable collectors' cars around US...
