Both on the River. Both crazy, once-ultra-modern buildings that look like The Jetsons meet Planet of the Apes.

But yes. River City and Marina City are totally different developments.

Well, its a relatively old building. Im sure it dosent have some of the modern amenities that some newer developments have. Marina City was always jokingly referred to as the "trailer park in the sky", and i think some of the rents/prices there were rock bottom until relatively recently. So river City might be the same way (outdated finishes, in need of work, etc). but without having been inside its hard to say. But I would imagine its a relatively working professional crowd that lives there

We looked at those last year. They are very outdated. Only a few have been updated. The inside looks cool, but it is actually a long walk from some units to the elevator. It's kind of weird. We saw many Indian people living there so the smell of curry was fairly strong. If you could get an updated one, it may be worth it. There is also a big Bally's fitness on the bottom floor. I think it's only a few dollars per month for residences.

I was wondering about River City too, as I saw a lot of units for sale in the past couple of years. I remember when they started selling the condos about 8 years ago. I thought they were nice. I would see if there is a special assessment or some major work that needs to be done.

Which is about the perfect age for the decor to be too dated to be considered contemporary, yet too recent to be considered "vintage-chic."
