My first and only dead body was here in Maywood where some lady was run over by a train(suicide). There was body here and there.

I had seen blood stains from killings of the previous night in Albany Park

I don't mean to scare you, but could there possibly have been a death in your building that went undiscovered for a long time? That smell can get into carpeting, carpet pad, even a hardwood floor and it's really hard to get out. I knew someone who had their upstairs neighbor die on the floor above them and the body wasn't discovered until it started dripping into their apartment from the ceiling.

Why would you think that? This is a huge city with many trouble spots. Englewood is but a speck.

Freemasons in Chicagoland (and all over the world) display human skulls as reminders of "one's mortality" (and also drink wine from them). If you haven't already, you should check out your local Masonic Temple (though I think you must be sponsored)... Several of the men in my family have been Masons. Lots of cool skull symbolism if you're into that....
