It appears to be taken from a vantage point near Wrightwood and Clybourn looking slightly Northeast.

That's the Lincoln Park neighborhood on the near to mid north side. The diagonal street running across the grid is Lincoln Avenue from about Wrightwood to about Diversey (right to left).
