That was clearly off-topic fear mongering, don't you think? I guess you'd better run to the gun shop before it's too late! Run! Now!

How is it off topic? Clearly you don't work at the Thompson center where people march on a constant basis about taking away guns...especially african americans. which just so happens to be 50% of what our President Elect is. In fact, the only non-african american at these rallies is a white priest. when will people realize that criminals don't abide by the law? changing laws won't do anything for the violent problems plaguing the african american communities. the problems are much deeper than simply guns. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.
whether or not you want to admit it, guns and urbanity go together like peanut butter and jelly.
no need to "run" anywhere, i already have my guns.

I suppose sheeple, such as yourself, said the same things before the Patriot Act that stomped all over our rights...no wonder this country is going down the tubes. It's a heard of mindless sheeple...

I don't think gun conrol laws are particularly effective either. But there's no evidence that an Obama administration is attempting to repeal the second ammendment. At worst, we will have restrictions similar to what was in place during the Clinton Administration. And I'm assuming you kept your guns through the 90s, right?
By the way, it's kind of ridiculous to assume Via Chicago and I were for the Patriot Act. I don't know how Via Chicago feels about it, but I certainly didn't support it...
I'm starting to see a Libertarian streak in you, At1. That's much more defensible than Republicanism in my mind, even though I dont' really agree with it.

Through the 90's...LOL, I wasn't old enough to own a gun in the 90's. but that doesn't stop youths from other areas having guns...
I am as liberal as can be, i just know that our country always has failed leadership. that's the frustrating part.

Using the term "sheeple" is an inflammatory term that ends up pissing off people and shutting down amiable discussions. To me, its almost (not quite) the same as calling someone a KKK member because their against affirmative action.
