Agreed. Outside of major tourist areas (where perhaps you could argue that it adds to the "fun" atmoshpere to name streets after Chicago celebrities), it is one of those little irritating money wasters in our city government.

They might as well change the name back to Crawford ( which most people over the age of 55 or so still call it) and then give the honorary name of Pulaski.
