Skip Navy Pier and miss the Stained Glass Museum, perhaps the best of the smaller, off-beat museums in Chicago? And it is free.

If you think you are interested in living here, I think you should forget the tourist stuff and check out the neighborhoods. But then, I'm not all that keen on touristy stuff period. When I travel to another city, I like to stroll the neighborhoods and imagine living there.
