Financial analysts make predictions based on facts and historical trends, so do the sportswriters, you made yours based on your distaste for Blago nothing else. Legally until the Governor is removed from the office or resigns he/she has a constitutional right to appoint a Senator once the seat is vacated....everything else is an opinion......

No, I made an educated prediction about the Blago situation and it still might come true. So what if it did not come true before Jan. 1st?

You think I did not know buttface helmet hair could still appoint a senator? I believe I was one of the first people in this forum that mentioned that very point after he got arrested. I know how the process works.

BTW- if you think financial analysts and sportswriters ALWAYS make impartial predictions that have nothing to do with their own personal interests or feelings you sir a quite a buffone.

I have very thick hair, and had a hair cut resembling the Blago helmet right around 1987 or so... I was going for that 80s skateboarder flop look, but sort of ended up with an impenetrable helmet held together with some cheap gel or mousse. Not my best look.

As for appointments, does anyone seriously think if there were only 1 woman in the senate that there would not be great pressure to appoint another woman if that seat unforseeably became vacant? I think there's more realpolitik than racism going on here. Myself, I wanted Jan Schakowsky to get the nod.
