Is Chicago the city that sleeps?
It seems people just doze off in the winter time, either from watching tv, or eating, or drinking. Is Chicago the city that sleeps in the winter time?

This girl I knew said she would stay in a lot during the winter, but she was lame, so...
Personally I like to go out unless there is a blizzard or everything is iced up.

what, are people in other cities perpetually up 24/7? come on, even people in NYC veg out on cold nights too. maybe Chicago is the city that "needs to get to bed eventually because it has work to do tomorrow and can't afford to hang out at bars, clubs, and house parties all day"

If you don't know the joys of hearing the icy arctic wind howl and rattle your windows at 6am on a Saturday, while you turn over to cuddle with the Designated Body Heat Producer, then I pity you
That being said, I think I've made it clear that I've had some crazy days and crazier nights, but... Sometimes it's February, you look haggard and you just want to die after getting home from work.
Also, winter is prime reading time. I've let weekends and holidays pass just by sitting on the couch with a blanket and a stack of books

I just got home from drinking a few with friends and saw a fair number of people out - not too bad considering it's freakin' Monday night.

Well if you compare the loop of Chicago to the main part of NYC youll obviously notice a huge difference in traffic at night. Mainly cuz there is next to nothing to do in the loop besides work. Personally I kind of like it when I leave work late and there are only a few people walking around. Or if your ever bored in the summer I love to drive around the city at 2am
