Surpreme Court nominations aren't merit based.
Harriet Miers, anyone?
If all things were equal about Sotomayor but she were a white man, he'd be ninth senior partner at a firm in the loop drafting trust documents. Obama wanted to make a point with her appointment, and he did. She is now the figurehead for affirmative action- which she has said she is a direct product of. |

The key word is "graduate" She left the project a long long time ago to attend an Ivy league college. Kudos to her. My beef is with the layabouts who are on public housing for generations. If you can't get your shyt together in 25 years, you will never ever get it together. Public assistance should be temporary, not a life long ambition. |
