Chicago Banks Getting Bailout Funds
Let's not forget that a lot of the mega-banks that got the bulk of the bailout money out have countless billions dollars invested here, so Chicago is getting its bailout indirectly as well. Fact is, there simply aren't any large Chicago-based banks left to bail out; they've all been bought out by other institutions headquartered elsewhere. I think Harris is the only large Chicago-area bank left, and it's not even that large by multi-national banking standards.
