Oh, actually Chicago Ave does meet up with Milwaukee Ave. You can take the Blue Line to that intersection, see it for yourself.

I really wish the sprawl would stop. It only hurts the areas they are expanding away from with expensive road and water projects that burden an already bloodied budget.

I think it's only a matter of time before Southwestern Michigan becomes part of the metro too.

I hope it won't. That is too much sprawl. I consider Chicagoland to be the 6 original counties and maybe parts of Northwest Indiana.

A large metro does not mean sprawl. It means that there are a lot of people, where else are they supposed to live?
