Default Selling a car in the city.
Real quick question. Im looking to sell my jeep in the near future. A friend of mine told me I could be ticketed for having a 'for sale' sign on the dash when it is parked on a city street.

Any truth to this?

It is true. I do not recall the ordinance. Cyber driver illinios is a good resource. There is also a chicago ticket blog called theexpiredmeter.com that is very helpful.

This may need to go in the suburbs forum, but does anyone know if this is true in the NorthShore burbs? I work quite a bit in evanston and Northbrook and didnt know if it was allowed up there.
