Check out the link below and please tell me which is a good neighborhood to be in. I'm thinking about the apartment in the South Shore, by the lake. The description for that apartment building is that it has scenic view of the lake. Is this true? Any other recommendation?

Scenic view of the lake indeed. And if it's a highrise, you might also get a scenic view of the muzzle flashes in the surrounding neighborhood at night.

Avoid the South Shore area if you value your car and your life. And don't think of living there without a car since walking around is not an option.

It seems quite an exaggeriation to call it life-threatening, but from alle the locations on this list of apts South Shore is probably the worst.
