Is it his policies you don't like, or is it cause he's the first bi-racial president?

As a Republican, I don't even see race in people. I only see qualifications, experience, and capability. In that regard, I guess I am more like Dr. King than most Democrats. For example, I would have loved to have Condi Rice or Clarence Thomas run.

But Obama's socialist policies are going to cripple our country. It's not like we don't know the formula for getting out of economic crises. Tax cuts for the job creators. That's the formula. It's worked in 1986, 1995, 2001, and 2003 to get us down cycles. We also know that massive government spending in the face of a downturn leads to disaster. 1933 is the only example you need to know.

So if the formula is widely known, and Obama is openly choosing what DOESN'T work, his goal must be something OTHER than the welfare of the country. I say it's to make more people dependent so Democrats can keep power.

The wording of your post is confusing. First, why would anyone take alleged mockery from the Chinese or Russians as an indication of the quality of anything, let alone fiscal policy? I can see if you have concerns with the stimulus bill, but what the Russians and Chinese think is hardly worth taking so seriously.

Secondly, the Russians and Chinese wouldn't laugh at something for being Socialist, as I take your post to imply. They would admire it.

Finally, if either of those countries are laughing at us it won't be for long -- both have HUGE messes on their hands. The Chinese are putting together massive bailouts themselves and are losing jobs at a staggering rate (did you read the Times article this weekend on incredible number of Chinese factory closures).

That's just it. Russia and China have seen firsthand the disaster of socialism, and that's why both countries have moved strongly toward capitalism. They can't understand why America, long the bastion of capitalism, would suddenly trade steak for stale peanut butter sandwiches, give up the Ritz Carlton for Motel 6 or dump Charlize Theron for Rosie O'Donnell.

So that's why China and Russia are exhorting not to make the same mistake they did. They need us to succeed so they can succeed.

Actually Democrats want to spread the power around. That would mean less power for them.

You're just a hardcore Republican that wants to start something. Go away and leave Chicago alone. We already have enough trolls.
