Pierzynski had it coming. I'd punch the guy myself... Okay, probably not, but I'd like to.

It's only been a couple months and there's complaints already? How did you tolerate the past 8 years? I believe just like in any other job here in the US, because Obama is a minority, he will be under the microscope a lot more than his predecessors. You can see that already with all the coverage.
BTW, I'm not embarrassed at all about Chicago and IL in general. The state and that great city, shows really well, and there may be some corruption due to that the "machine", but things get done in that state.

Is it me, or does Chicago have a "kick me" sign on its back. Your legacy in politics is corruption alternating with incompetence. Obama scores high in both. Maybe I'd bury my head in the sand, too.

Why all the hate? If Chicago doesn't concern you, why did you even start this thread? Did you have a bad experience in Chi-town or something? Or are you bitter that Obama won the election? We gave the last guy 8 years, and you're not even giving this guy two months...

Yeah, some perv picked him up at the Greyhound station and.............well now he has to use a dumpster instead of a toilet. You'd be angry too.

I'm sad that Crede left for the Twins, he's one of my favorite players. That's like one of the Bears leaving to play for the Packers or Vikings. I was also sad that Aaron Rowand was allowed to leave the White Sox too a few years ago. Our team was never the same since he left, he was a heart and soul type player, but I have a feeling Ozzie never liked him because he was a more of a leader in the clubhouse than Ozzie liked, and Ozzie didn't like that bunt attempt Rowand attempted when he was told to do something else at the 2005 World Series, that sealed his fate with the wizard of Oz...

And Barrett got the boot. And now we've got Soto, so perhaps it was a blessing in disguise.

Oh man, you edited out the true comedy. But yeah, those repressed ditto-heads are always getting into trouble at the Greyhound stations. Airport bathrooms too.

But the chance to see Barrett's pretty pretty face was the only reason I would even pause on a Cubs game while channel surfing.
