Yeah, that's a very nice stadium. It won't be so nice in April or May, but then again, the metrodome wasn't so nice in June, July, or August.

Yes, just don't acknowledge that Bush had ANYTHING to do with the enormous mess he created. It's what you neo-cons do. Go kneel down to your Dubya shrine. Thanks.

Anyway, I hope the addition of Crede doesn't help the Twins. Too bad we weren't able to trade him last year.

On the other hand, you can let the free market work and everyone gets the chance to make as much as possible.
All of these examples are quite different from companies that receive bail-out money and then the CEOs squander $20,000 on fancy toilets for their personal offices with said bailout money.

Btw, never heard of an actor getting tax incentives to film in certain locations.

Also, Blagojavich = embarrassing. Burris = embarrassing. Now you may not agree with Obama's bailout plan or his extensively long period as POTUS from which to criticize (said sarcastically) - but Obama? Not embarrassing.

I guess its because Minnesotans are just too darn nice.

So, if Crede has a good year, good for him. The Sox needed to move on, and since they're unlikely to be serious playoff contenders this year, I think I can take seeing Crede help out the twins. I think.
True - it is hard to hate Minnesotans, but the Twins are the team to beat this year. Although that's what the Indians were supposed to be at this time last year, and look at how that went. I could get myself really worked up about the Tigers, they just haven't been enough of a threat lately.

To use a sports analogy, it reminds me of when "Bosworth Sucks" tee shirts were marketed at all the AFC West stadiums in 1987. The marketer of these hot-selling garb? One Brian Bosworth.

I love that. Any idea which party's banking committee resisted all attempts (along party lines) at reform of the banking system ? I swear to God. Leftwing dimwits don't even know they reelected the foxes to guard the henhouse.

But then again, there are Obama supporters.

Your Limbaugh-esque revisionist history is ridiculous. Yep, banking regulations were loosened during the Clinton adminisistration and many centrist Democrats were on board. But it was HEAVILY supported by the Republicans. Bush and the Republican majority certainly had many years to fix what they didn't like, but Republicans have never met a regulation they liked.
