My partners and I debate this one a lot. On the one hand, it's not really defamation of character... until they begin altering reviews. When that happens, if that's true, it is purposeful manipulation of someone's public image. Many of the people who contribute reviews seem young and callow. Not the kind of people whose opinions I'd regard. On the other hand the young and callow are a huge market and there's plenty of dough to be made catering to the buggers.
