Detention for Obama
I got a detention for calling Obama a "dumb ass" do you think that I deserved it? I'm attempting to argue with the deans, but what do you guys think?

OP. What exactly is the basis of the detention? Is it that you made a political statement? Or is it that you called someone, anyone, a "dumb ass"? Or perhaps something else?

If you want to say whatever you want whenever you want then just don't go to school or get a mainstream job. The machine does not respond well to inputs like 'dumb ass'. Silly isn't it?

Yeah I really bet kids were getting detention when they called George Bush far worse names in class. (Justified or not)

I really am not sure you have much of case to go on with a lawyer. Not over a detention anyway. Unless you get a person pro bono then it would cost more than it is worth fighting.
