I don't know. At least on the Illinois forums, it seems to me that we have a predominance of moderate lefties with a handful of moderate righties. Very few hard left or hard right-winger types.

I consider myself a moderate lefty (on some issues though I can be a super lefty) but for the most part I'm pretty moderate.
However, when it comes to local politics, I've found that party alliance means little.
