Lakeview/Wrigleyville area is where you'll find young people and night life. But except to pay a lot more for rent. If your willing to pay it I think you'll enjoy it.

I live in North Edgewater. Its quiet a lot cheaper then Wrigleyville/Lakeview. I would say its safter then Rogers Park but its pretty close (distance) to it as well.

I'm 15 min walking distance from the redline train, 20mins ride to wrigleyville nightlife or 20mins via Clark st bus which I am quite close to. And I'm not far from the Lake which is where you want to do your jogging/biking.

BTW you said you didn't want to move to Rogers Park but listed quite a few addresses in Rogers Park.

I pay $645 in Lincoln Park and it's by the lake and the park. It's an old building, but I'm not there very often because there's so much to do by where I live. The red line is close and buses go to Loyola.
