Thanks a lot. I went through MicroCenter's web site and have found Dell Mini 9! (http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0300666).
Unfortunately, they have a model with only 1G of RAM and with WinXP. But it's much more better than nothing. It seems, they have such a laptop in Chicago/Central store. I can order it on-line and to choose in-store pick up option. But in this case I should pick it up during 3 days. So, I can do it at March 18th-19th in the case I wouldn't find any better position. Thank you again.

I understand the desire for the Dell Mini but if you can't locate one have your buddy stop by any Office Depot and pick up an Acer. I have a Dell Mini running Ubuntu and a friend has an Acer running Windows and they are virtually the same in my opinion.

For in-store purchases on any of the 'e-books' or mini-notebooks, I've only seen XP offered.. for Ubuntu and other customizations, they're usually only available online.. If you don't see it at Micro Center, BB, or Office Depot , you might need to have your friend pick up an XP model instead if you can't use online ...
