Milo Cereal
Guys, does anybody know where I can get Milo Cereal here in Chicago?
Its made by Nestle but I have only seen it in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
If anybody has ever seen this in Chicago please let me know.

Just want to say I love Milo, though can't say I've tried the cereal. Is it new? I'm actually Australian (have been here for 2 years now) and I like to think I would have known about it.... then again, I'm not much of a cereal person. Love the Milo chocolate bar though!
Anyway, if you have no luck, you can always order it off the web. There's a website called Simply Australian who are based in Washington and they seem to stock it (though checking today it seems to be out of stock).
I'm rather intrigued now so let us know if you do find it around Chicago. I've bought Milo here, but for some reason it just wasn't the same (that goes for Cadbury chocolate too) so now I just make sure my family back home sends me care packages full of goodies.

A decent percentage of Cadbury products sold in the U.S. are made in the U.S. That might be the reason...

I have purchased the drink mix from Trader Joe's, I believe it is made by Nestles. If the cereal is anything like the drink, i understand your quest - we love it!

Ya, the cereal is amazing. Its absolutely horrible for you but taste so good. Im going to try and see if anybody in the Aussie forum knows if I can find it here. I had heard there were a few stores in New York that carried Milo cereal, that made me a bit hopeful chicago might have it as well.

Here is your answer. I am sure it took a few years to become widely distributed in Australia.
"Sep 10, 2003 (B&T Weekly - ABIX via COMTEX)
Nestle has moved into the Australian cereal market with the launch of its new "Milo" cereal. Sean Davis, Nestle Cereals national sales manager, said the new product would generate new excitement in the breakfast cereal market. It is aimed primarily at children aged 6-12 years, with the marketing campaign to target both children and mothers. McCann-Erickson created the TV advertising campaign. Other promotional activity will include a PR and sampling campaign and stickers on Milo cans. ... "
