Default Best Dr.'s in Chicago

I am looking for the best Endocrine/Internal medicine Dr. in the City. Also, and Oncologist. Where is the best cancer treatment in Chicago? Is it on par with MD Anderson in Houston or Johns Hopkin?

Hmm, that doesn't sound good. If I had cancer I'd go to the University of Chicago. They seem to have the best reputation of the academic institutions in Chicago.

Ditto UChicago. US News and World Report ranks the best hospitals for treating cancer in the country and University if Chicago is the top Chicago hospital (#18 on the list overall)

Good questions. My onc is with Hematology Oncology Associates of Illinois, but I'm on surveillance since active cancer has been in remission for 4+ years. If I had another flare-up I'd probably go to IU in Indianapolis for treatment since they specialize in my type of cancer (or coordinate local care through them).

I think it sometimes depend on what type of cancer, and I'd imagine the demographic on this forum is probably not the kind that has much experience with cancer treatment.
