I wanna know why Sharpie insisted on a fast, elevated wrist shot on an empty net??

I'm glad that they won, but really not a very impressive performance; their goalie saved them. I was surprised to see Sopel on the ice during the final minute, and I didn't see Keith or Seabrook, although I may have just missed them....I guess that Sopel is regarded as more of a "shot-blocking" type that could help more in the closing seconds....

Just a little concerned with how passively the Black Hawk D played in the final period; they're going to have to be much better in Philly...

Yeah - 10 minutes of Sopel in the third period. Granted, the dude blocks shots and plays gritty, but he also turned the puck over continously in their own zone because he has no puckhandling/skating skills. You can't expect to spend nearly the entire third period in 'Penalty Kill' mode and maintain a one goal lead consistently.

Hopefully that's the last time the Hawks finish a game playing not to lose.

Okay is it just me or are their about 1.475.483 new bandwagon fans of the blackhawks in the last year? I am a newer fan but I at least started following them 4 years ago when they had only 26 wins and it seems like everyone at all the Hawk bars went out just this past week and bought their jersey's and know nothing about hockey and act like they have been following them their whole life. I wonder if the bulls and cubs and white sox experienced this massive bandwagon jump on. I suppose if this creates and sustains more hawks fans in the end who cares right? At least I jumped on before 99% of the people out there.

Go Hawks!

Chicago doesn't give the Blackhawks the love they give Da Bears, or Da Bulls, or Da Cubs, or Da White Sox.

If the Hawks win it all and the Cubs or White Sox finish in at least a tie for third, the Hawks will once again be relegated to the back burner.
