also do you guys believe that people should protest in front of his home? i believe a group of people either protested or held a vigil in front of his house and you know what else is funny, you guys remember the john ardelean case the other big dui cop case that killed those other two guys? well these guys that died and those other two were friends/acquaintances so 2 different drunk cops killed 4 friends

this guy should go jail because he's already had a history of drunken driving. As a matter of fact he still has yet to pay for an accident back in 2005 . I personally think that they should protest..downtown then people will notice.

Why would it be a good idea to protest in front of his house? His family and neighbors didn't do anything. Outside the courthouse would be the way to go for those interested.

I agree with the front of the home protest. If nothing else, it's generating a lot of publicity for another case that is clearly being swept under the rug by the CPD.
Not only are many Chicago cops corrupt, apparently a lot of them have drinking problems.

^Wow. Totally deserved. They should plaster these all over the city, imo. In both previous cases he wasn't even ticketed. His lawyer says he is not getting special treatment. Bull****. His ass should have been thrown in jail with no bond.

wow yous guys are acting like cops are the only ones with drinking problems, and every time a cop skrews up it ends up on this forum. Like the cop is the first person to drive drunk a kill someone, and as bad as it is, I don't see a reason for yous to start crusade against CPD. And he not really gettin special treatment hes getting let out onbond for 500,000 thats not unusual.

Cops are supposed to be role models and the ones responsible for catching scumbags who drink and then get behind the wheel. For a cop to drink and drive is a greater evil than someone who isn't responsible for keepinh the general public safe, off-duty or not. Any scumbag who kills innocent people because he can't control his drinking deserves to be thrown in jail, no bond. When a cop has 2 previous DUI's and then kills 2 people and is let out on lesser bond than most people, and was hardly reprimanded the first TWO times he was caught - reeks of favoritism. I have no sympathy for this guy. None.
