You should be able to get a studio in that area for much less. Try 550-650. I would NEVER PAY 800 in Edgewater for a Studio unless it is brand new and includes all utilities.

I could see $800 in a high-rise with an awesome view or something.

Or if it's a really large studio. Like, larger than a one-bedroom, but simply without walls. You could find a pretty nice one-bedroom apartment in Edgewater for $800, after all. Many people pay less for one-bedrooms.

@Drover: My workplace is around mccormick and touhy , there is this bus 290 which goes there though i am not too sure of the frequency.

I found a good studio/close to lake and bryn mawr in edgewater but only at 800 . Anything below and I get cheap'ish interiors.

Do you know of ur buddies paying around 800 for a decent apartment around sheridan and bryn mawr? Or am I being taken for a ride?

Thanks again and the least I cud do is increase all of ur reputation.. :-)
The 290 Actually runs pretty frequently, and roughly on time.

If your riding it during normal business hours, you shouldnt wait more than 20 minutes to catch it.

Yes. That is exactly what I was going to add if I elaborated further.
