Default Jury duty tomorrow in criminal court..bus question

Hi all -

I've got jury duty tomorrow and have a question about the best way to get there. I'll be coming from the NW suburbs, so could either take the Blue Line or the Metra. I'd prefer Blue Line so I don't have to bother with the train schedules, but for my route I'd be getting off of Western on the El, and then taking the Western Express (X49) to the court house. Any thoughts on this plan? I'm not too familiar with the area so that route would be a good idea or not. I'd really appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Be careful because everyone else that has to go to 26th and California is likely a defendant or relative of defendant since there is limited parking there. Just be wary while on the L.

If you're going to the 26th and California courthouse, take the Blue Line to the Washington stop, take the stairs on the south end of the station to Madison Street and catch the #60 Blue Island bus. It will drop you off right in front of the courthouse.
