So by living in chicago a decade he should be fully knowledgeable of all neighborhoods in the city?

Ok, first of all it's really creepy you pull those statements out from 2000+ I've done over the past few years.
Englewood is synonymous with being a "bad" area of Chicago. I drove down 79th with my friend.....9 years ago....and I'm truely sorry that Englewood ends at 75th Street and I was apparently 4 blocks south of the neighborhood. I didn't know we were being tested.
South Chicago I flubbed because I meant South Chicago Heights.
Chicago Lawn I was looking in some website with all cities and towns in Illinois listed and it listed Chicago Lawn.
It was a mindless conversation in a mindless thread. There are like 200 suburbs and over 100 neighborhoods and sub-neighborhoods. It's not like I was trying to help a desperate person find the antedote.

It's interesting that 25% of the incidents were on the west branches of the Green and Blue lines. That makes Oak Park less appealing, doesn't it!

Yeah, I read that and thought of bringing that up a few days ago. There are a few wrinkles.
One is that this doesn't even include the stops west of Central which are outside of Chicago. No doubt far less happens there since it's a nice area, but it's still a decent amount of track mileage that doesn't get counted.
The second wrinkle is that 25% doesn't seem like that much because those west side lines are fairly long; no doubt quite a bit less than 25% of the total system mileage, but still. HOWEVER, they are fairly low ridership. The Green Line is lowest ridership line except for the Orange, Pink, Purple and Yellow, even though the Green has three branches and is quite long. And the Blue, though it has the second highest ridership in the system, I would have to imagine most of that ridership is on the ORD branch. The mostly poor people living along the Congress branch don't ride the train to work in the Loop everyday.
These considerations make it look even worse. Not fear-mongering, of course your chances of actually being a victim are still quite low no doubt, blah blah blah.

You can see ridership by "leg" and station for each of the lines. The Blue and Green are around 23-24K per weekday.
