what is the importance of chicago forum
hi. i m here a new bie. how can i get latest info about Chicago? i want to get knowledge about chicago.

On the off chance you are not trolling, I would suggest reading the city-data page on Chicago;

and the Wikipedia article on Chicago;

Once you have read those, generate a few questions, then search the forum to see if they have already been answered. Should that be insufficient, then it would be appropriate to ask in the forum. |

Not sure what you want to know...but, there are newspapers...both online....
the forum should supply you with whatever else you want to know...neighbourhoods, foods, transport...
MyssaTx.. Bless your heart...I know that you meant to include yourself in that descriptive assessment???

Your thread topic and your post ask two different questions. The importance of this here Chicago forum is that it provides a place for people to ask questions about Chicago and get answers from people who live here and know it. Nobody knows everything but add up the regular participants' sum total of Chicago knowledge and you'll get most of your questions answered. It also serves as a place for Chicago residents to share news, information and ideas with each other, which also makes it a resource for where to get the latest info about Chicago. Otherwise, your question is pretty broad and others have given some ways to get general info about Chicago that should help you hone down to more specific questions, which we may be able to answer here.
