HIV infection can take up to ten years to cause any symptoms. You can also have a false negative for HIV or an "undetectable" viral load. I would not be so confident you did not contract it.

all that is true but I am confident I don't. I've had more than one aids test and 2 out of 3 counslors basically told me it was a gay disease but that they like to promote fear in order to keep it from spreading. I'm not saying iam so ignorant to think I or any other heterosexual can't contract ais but I don't think its that easy either but regardless its a risk no one should take it only takes one time to be wrong. |

You need to educate yourself better on your own.
The counselors that told you it is "basically...a gay disease" are incompetent and should not be in their positions.
