yes it does
It doesn't make you safe but it reduces the odds and that was the only point I was making and thats the point the counselors were making and I believe them. I never suggested anyone is invincible to Aids but fear is a powerful tool.

I had a friend studying aerospace engineering at Georgia Tech (one of the top schools for this field), and he was all up in arms because there was a "grass roots" movement in Alabama to pass a law mandating that the value of Pi be changed from 3.14...... to 3. Why? Becuause apparently there is some discussion of this in the Bible where it talks about the construction of Solomon's Temple. Several elected legislators were on board for this. Could you imagine the effect this would have had on math instruction in that state? It's just incredible to me that people are this dumb. It's like saying 1 + 1 = 4!
