This is this guy's idea of a bad road? Here I give you the I-70
YouTube - Cross USA Day 6: I-70 in Missouri, St Charles to St Louis Looks aweful doesn't it? Can't quite figure out how, but this is a bad rough road apparently.

Wow this guy only drives on Lawrence between Cumberland and River Road and on Fullerton in Lincoln Park? What does Scotty beam him from Fullerton and Sheffield to Lawrence and Cumberland everday on his fantasy trip?

I drive down Fullerton in Lincoln Park all the time it is not that bad at all with potholes. It is one of the better streets. There are streets that are far worse.

He keeps repeating Lawrence between Cumberland and River Road. I think he has mentioned this stretch like 5 times already in different threads.

Wow, more name calling from you.

Thats great, so can I go to the loop and record a section of road and use that as an 'example.'

I gave you an example of a very bad road and you come back with a "witty" comment asking if I only drive there. No, terrible potholes are present everywhere in Chicago outside of the Loop. Should I take pictures and note the location on each and every one that I encounter? Why you guys are so defensive?

And that's what's really scarry. First of all the fact that other streets are even worse does not make Fullerton in LP any better. The second, keep in mind that I am not bringing up some remote street on the South Side but a major street in one ot the most prominent neighborhoods in Chicago. If the city can't fix this one what about others in all areas where houses cost few hundreads thousand less???

Potholes in Chicago are a real nightmare. I can't believe all those tax-dollars that are wasted here. The story I was told by the natives is that the roads are bad because the contractors that did them stole money by using a substandard mix. Knowing Chicago I would not be suprised it this was true. How about that salt that "disappeared" this winter from city's garages?

As long as you at the same time use roads for instance right in downtown Milwaukee, or Indy, or Manhattan and I mean like you use Michigan Ave then you better be comparing that with Broadway or 5th Ave in Manhattan, don't be comparing the Loop to The Bronx or Racine, WI, or Martin Luther King Dr. in Indy or some crap like that and freeways would be comparable I70 to 290 here.

Now wait a minute...

You used your 'example' of I-70 as an example for the entire stretch of Missouri.

So, by your logic, I can use the loop as an 'example' of Chicago.

Do you understand the problem with your example now?
