If you bashed 3 rims within a year there is a problem with your driving, as I know of no other Chicago driver who can lay claim to your record.

If you dont mind me asking, where in Missouri have you been.

Also, can you finally admit that your 'example' was invalid?

Because you only find out about the rims when you install new tires and try to balance them. Many people drive on bent rims not even realizing this untill a tire or a wheel bearing gives in. Yes, I have a knack for signaling my lane changes and not swerving in traffic like a maniac even though I drive a 300HP car.
Just look around those street, those potholes will destroy any suspension besides orignal Hummer's and Abram's tank.

Of course it counts. Im guessing you did not venture to greatly around Rolla if you think their roads were in better shape then what you would see in Illinois.

Still sticking with your 'example' eh?

Or this one? Google Maps

Or this one? Google Maps

Or this one? Google Maps

Or this one perhaps? Google Maps

See with the advent of Google, your idea of I-70 being complete crap is EASILY proved wrong.

How about Columbia? Nope same excellent road decking. Google Maps

Or perhaps I-44 in Rolla? Google Maps Hmmm looks ok there too.

Missouri's roads are not bad like you make them out to sound.

This one is comparable with lets say Touhy or Dempster http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie...59.931679&z=14

Dempster? http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie...02512562814075

Or even more sad, my hometown with it's poor excuse for roads. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie...59.726715&z=12

And now back to the St. Louis burbs. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie...59.931679&z=14 See a difference?

A couple of things.

1. An overhead view (and yes, even streetview) on Google Maps gives 0 indication to the condition a road is in. A. You just condensed 100's of miles of roads into 6 links. I just looked at an overhead / streetview of Touhy that is completely tore up, yet it looked every bit as good as your pics.

2. I wasnt referring to I-44, as that is not part of Rolla. I was referring to the local and state roads aroudn the area.

Potholes are terrible in Cook County. Believe me, we have plenty of them in Harvey and in the city. Of course some of the most well kept are in downtown, since that is the tourist attraction and business center. To really see some pothole roads, you have to venture outside the the downtown area.

You know what dude, I'm done with you, anyone that says this looks as good as the MO roads is obviously completely blind Google Maps You're right this looks the same as the links I demonstrated. As said in Skokie , "OY VEY!"
