I'm actually starting to think it's funny when newcomers can't figure out the parking permits and city stickers. How sadistic is that?

It was actually worse in Milwaukee, where you had to go to two different offices to get a daytime parking permit and a nighttime parking permit.

I still don't understand. You can apply for administrative review only after you have a losing hearing as to the ticket. The ticket fine doubles only when you do nothing about responding to the citation.

So, did you go to the hearing or not? Did you just mail in your explanation and get turned down?

The procedural process you have described is foreign to me.
