I think allergy pills are a lot like anti-depressant. Sometimes you have to try several before you find the one that works for you. Frustrating but it's worth it once you find relief.
It is. Allegra D isnt over the counter by chance is it?

Really? The only place I've ever had allergies was during College in Austin Texas.

My daddy has them bad! I feel so bad for him but hes been living like that ever since he came to the United States.

I dont think so.

Your insurance wont pay?

I have tricare which is Military insurance and they only pay for generics. You can try and appeal it and sometimes they will pay if your doctor backs you up saying you need a specific type of medication.

I believe there are prescription strength and over the counter varieties. I avoid anything with a "D" in it. Those things knock me out.

CORRECTION: Allegra is not over the counter according to WebMD. http://www.webmd.com/allergies/guide...gy-medications

My old insurance wouldnt pay for it...dont know why. They tried to get me to switch to Claritin which made want to sleep 14 hours a day.

After that, they had me try Zyrtec which certainly helps, but doesnt seem like it does as good of a job as Allegra D did for me.

Perhaps try Zyrtec-D? It is OTC now.

Yeah, the past week I've been pretty sneezy. However, I have some allegra left over from his mysterious food allergy that i have, so the days I remember to take it, it's been tolerable.

My only allergy is dust, so it's worse for me in the winter when I'm cooped up indoors. I feel for you guys, though!

Yep and I normally don't have allergy issues. The Neti Pot helped me.
