People who drive Lexus' apparently. Oh well. So be it. lol As for the boring snow video... Hey to someone who has never seen snow, they can't even fathom what it would look like. It's kind of like when people were going on about how bad the air pollution is in Beijing to me a year or two ago. I pictured LA on a smoggy day. LOL! THEEEENNNN I saw a youtube video. HOLY FRICKING CRAP! Now I know what people were and are talking about when they say how filthy the air can be over there. Its kind of like that. If I lived in Florida all my life and never left, I wouldn't have a clue as to what snow looks like when it falls over a major metro area. I would picture in my mind the cartoons showing it to be all pure and white which after an hour or so on Chicago's streets or NY or wherever for that matter, it is anything but pure or white. Thats what youtube is good for, this way there is no "painting a mental picture" of what something is like for someone because how you visualize something and how someone else will visualize the exact same thing will be two TOTALLY different things. This way, they can sit, look at it, hear the sounds even and know what they are getting themselves into and make THEIR own judgement from there, not Drover's judgement, or Steve's or yours or mine, just their's the OP the one with the question.

Heh. Seriously. (And did you notice the cars that were passing? Taurus. Accord. Heh. This whole thread has been ridiculous.)

Default To be honest..

...that's not exactly a giant pile of snow, either. If you're intimidated by that, then you should only drive in Florida.

You certainly don't need 4WD to motor through that...

That doesn't even look like a snowstorm to me. It looks like a very basic winter scene. There's some slush on the ground and that's inconvenient, but I mean, really now. Snowstorm?

That's a typical Chicago snow storm. Most winters don't get much worse than that. It's rare that we have more than six inches of snow in a single storm anymore.

I couldn't tell for sure, but that area looked more neighborhood-ish. The tourists from Hawai'i are the ones who stand in the Loop at rushhour and block the sidewalks so that thet may stare straight up at the skyscrapers.

And then take pictures.

If you really want a measure of how friendly Chicago is, it's that we don't murder them. In Manhattan they'd just be stabbed to death.
