I thought the area around 35th/Damen was mostly Hispanic these days...? At least that's how it appears whenever I'm down around there...

I would hardly call McKinley Park a white ghetto seeing how it's about 80% Hispanic. In fact I wouldn't call it a ghetto at all. It may be worn on the edges figuratively speaking, but it's a solid, stable, and pretty safe neighborhood. It was one of the places I considered moving to until my wife refused to transfer from her Schaumburg office, scuttling any plans to live any further south than Belmont.
I also haven't seen many Asians there yet. In fact I got stranded right near 35th and Damen (35th and Leavitt specifically) about a month ago when my car battery died. I don't recall seeing one Asian face the whole time I waited for help to arrive.

There are Asians down there for sure. Lots of Asians living all the way down Archer ave, even beyond Western.
But the idea that McKinley Park is an "Asian ghetto" (or any kind of ghetto) is friggin stupid. It's a nice place to live.

Bridgeport has not been all white for a very long time. It hasn't even had a white majority for several years. There are a ton of Asians and many Latinos in the neighborhood.

Bridgeport a ghetto? McKinley Park a "white" ghetto? The place is 70% Hispanic, and is also not very "ghetto."
Armour Square a ghetto? Which parts of McKinley Park are Asian? The neighborhood is, what, maybe 5% Asian?
Do you actually live in this city?
