Default With this being an Illinois thread..

..has anyone heard the old stand-up routine from Bob Newhart about "Abe Lincoln vs. Madison Avenue" from around 1959? I heard it years ago, and recently had the chance to hear it again. Still funny, years later.

Great opening line (press agent talking to Lincoln):

" Hello Abe sweetheart, how are you, kid?"
