Karaoke?
So, I'm helping a friend plan another friend's bachlorette party and she wants to do karaoke on a Saturday night. Besides Trader Todds (or whatever that place is), what would you suggest? We're probably the most interested in Lakeview or Andersonville, but are willing to go anywhere.

Louie's Pub in Wicker Park - although I don't know how great it'd be for a bachelor party. Perhaps if you could get the backroom for your group.

I'll second Louie's Pub.
It doesn't have the best song selection, but the crowd can be great there and it's a really fun atmosphere.

Love it.
Lincoln Karaoke, also on Lincoln, north of Hidden Cove, is also fun with a group. They have private rooms.
I've had good times doing karaoke at Friar Tucks, but don't know what nights they do that. I've heard good things about Rory Lake's Karaoke Dreams in Bucktown.
I also have a few other favorite karaoke spots, but they're small places and have gotten crowded enough.

I miss the days when the Hidden Cove was actually still "hidden." I have been going there for like 15 years...
