Image Consultant for Men?
Eh, that's probably not the best thread title ever but it serves its purpose.
I wouldn't necessarily call myself an image consultant but I do help men become more stylish and groomed individuals in terms of wardrobe, grooming and hygiene, physical fitness, mannerisms, and general knowledge about typical "fine things" in life (such as food, wine, books, art, etc. - just stuff so that they have that knowledge in case they need to use it, which they most likely will). I guess that is practically an image consultant since I perform makeovers on men.
My question is would men use my services in Chicago (lol that could be said for a different type of profession)? I'm doing fairly well in my current city but I've always had a love for Chicago since I was younger and I'd love to move there.
Ever since my teens I've always loved helping men become stylish and suave, as silly as that sounds. It doesn't hurt that many men aren't that big and informative in the whole style thing.
I don't know if this is relevant information but I'm a female in her mid-20's.

I'm sure there are men in Chicago that would pay for this service, assuming you actually know what you're doing. It probably exists here already in some capacity.

Thank you for a real answer.
The big problem that I know I will face is getting my name out there (how do image consultants advertise anyways?) since where I am currently, I was mainly passed on by word of mouth. This all started off with me just having fun and helping out one of my guy friends and then it all went from there. |
