Whoa - storm coming
It just went from light out to almost dark outside. The winds a -blowin too. I think we are in for a pretty nasty storm, much earlier than the evening as the weather reports predicted. Did anyone else get woken up by the thunder in the middle of the night?

It has died down a little here but the rain is still pretty steady. I was honestly scared for a good three minutes or so. I love storms, but uh... not when they let me know that the seal between my back door and the threshold is pretty much non existent.

I'm sitting on the 26th floor downtown with an open view to the north and the west. It was pretty psycho about 30 minutes ago with that first storm coming through just to the north of downtown. When the clouds passed over they were going every single direction all at once.
Now it's just blinding rain, but I guess the main burst is coming in a few minutes....then it looks like more out west, and another warning just issued for the north burbs.
Fun.

18th floor looking west onto the Thompson center. It got really dark and thundered loudly a few times. It did get a little bit lighter. I'm glad I'm not outside, though.
