Try Le Colonial, Geja's Cafe or The Signature Room on the 95th.
If money is not an issue, you might consider Everest, Nomi, or Arun's.
My personal favorite is The Wiener's Circle. It's also very romantic

Depending on your price point and what you mean by "romantic," you could add Kiki's Bistro or MK to your list.

Guess you do have a different definition of "romantic" than most of us.
The signature room is overpriced and food is not that great either. People from out of town go there more for the view than for the food and ambience.
Wiener's circle is where you can get $5 bugers and get verbally abused by the workers there. Some kinky people do enjoy it.

It was being sarcastic when I mentioned The Wiener's circle. Of course, we all know it's a fast food place with rude service
As for The Signature Room at the 95th floor, I consider it a romantic place based on the view and ambience, not the food quality.

In keeping with the crass nature of the thread, Le Colonial is definitely a panty dropper

I'd prefer Crabby Kim's.

If you go to Crabby Kims for a drink, head to Lincoln Square. There are two fine dining places on Lincoln between Sunnyside and (street name drawing a blank....) south of Old Town School of folk music. One French, can't remember the other.

If you have a decent place to live, get a cleaning service, if you need it, hire a personal chef, and a masusse to relax you both and enjoy a romantic dinner at home.
I would swoon for that.

Looking for a location to propose
Hey everyone,
I could really use some help here. I am going to be proposing soon and need some help finding the right place since I am not too familiar with Chicago.
I am looking for a restaurant that has a view of the city or Lake Michigan (preferably the city) and has a private room to dine in with my girlfriend. Searching the internet has not given me much information so I figured I would try here.
Does anyone here have any information for suggestions for this?
Price doesn't matter. More romantic and classy is best.
Thanks for your time
