How is the area around Broadway & Hollywood?
I am looking to sublet an apartment and have a showing tomorrow. I currently live in Lakeview but am trying to relocate someplace cheaper. Is this area nice? Safe? The specific address is: 5709 N Magnolia Ave.

It's fine. not the most exciting area of Edgewater, but it's fine.

I just moved to the area and really like it. It's a 10 minute walk to most places (not right next door) but it's great. Moved there myself from Lakeview at the end of June. It's a little rougher around the edges but haven't felt anything but safe.

Its not bad I live close to there and you'll be right by the redline and the lake. Not to good on dinning around there, maybe some cheap places on Broadway. |
