Thing is, I knew a guy and knew of guys from other projects. They would make fun of Cabrini kids. Like they had it easy. I got the impression it was one of the better projects to be in. Maybe because you were so close to desirable areas?

But ya, I get your point. It's got to be better most places than a large city's housing projects. At least in the US.

Candlewick lake will be back... right now its a foreclosure hole, hopefully the association stays strong and prevents sleave balls from thriving... the low prices are appearing for an investor like myself. And without the association who is protecting you when your subdivision turns into a pit?

I believe you're looking for Scottsdale. Just look at all these beautiful winding roads that don't lead anywhere!

And row after row of identical homes, each with a driveway!

Being built entirely in the 50's, complete with a large shopping center with acres of parking, it's not much surprise you can find your suburban dream here! It's like a slice of heaven!

Yes, Norwood Park and Edgebrook have wooded, and larger lots than most of the city. But Beverly does as well. This may be a good choice if you work for the city, or otherwise want to live there, but the far north is too inconvenient. But if you want nightlife you are barking up the wrong tree. It's about as dead as the suburbs.
