Murder rate drops and rises, we will see rises in the future and we will see drops.
Besides, last year's summer spike was due to a gang war.

But yeah, aside from the little spike last year, since 2004 the city has been strangely consistent with homicides. Around 450 per year.

also the hospital technology/ care got better so guys that are alive now would have been dead in the 90's
