Default ITV / Cable / Bar/ Soccer Question

Ok, I am trying to figure out if it is at all possible for me to watch the Croatia-England World Cup Qualifier today. I believe the game will be shown on ITV, a british channel. Does anybody know of any bars that will carry this game? I am looking for somewhere that is on the North Branch of the Red Line (I have to hop on immediately after the game to get to work.) I am guessing Buffalo Wild Wings is my best bet, but its a bit further south than I would like to travel. Best places would be somewhere around Rogers Park, including Edgewater, Andersonville, Evanston, Uptown, Etc.

Thanks.

Try calling this place:

The Pumping Co.

Their sign says they carry Setanta Sports Channel, which is a US soccer channel. This game is on the premium "Pay Per View" Setanta Channel:

Home US | Setanta

So they would have to buy it separately or have a subscription that includes the PPV events. Not sure if you can buy it ala carte yourself to watch on your computer, or if you have to have a monthly subscription to the regular channel.

If that's not an option, further south, you will be more likely to find the game at Fado on Clark in River North (off Grand Red Line stop) or The Globe (off the Irving Park Brown Line stop)

The Globe, in fact, has it listed. $20 admission:

Chicago pub and bar showing EPL English Premiership League football (soccer), SPL Scottish Premiership League football (soccer), Six Nations rugby, Henieken Cup rugby

There are ways to see this game over the Internet for free ...

Great info, thanks.

Ya, If I was able to get really drunk while watching the game I may be willing to pay the 20 bucks, but since Ive got to work tonight I will probably just stay here and watch it online.

Thanks for the info on the Globe Bar, I think ive found my new favorite place.
