more cool ideas, I wonder if it will be too chilly to do a river cruise? I've done the architecture boat tour. And he boats all the time, he may be tired of it!
Cheesecake is always a nice idea! Would a guy be interested in a botanical garden? I wish I knew more about what he likes to do. I feel that if someone invites you to their town for a visit, they should find out what you like and look things up, I feel like it's the other way around and I have to come up with the plans!! I hate that!!!
But, maybe I'm putting too much thought into it, I just don't want to suggest something that will bore him.

Dating is all about discovery. If he likes you if won't matter where you go as long as it is WITH YOU. Enjoy your visit. YOu may learn you both would rather watch old movies and eat a pizza and popcorn at home than do the other stuff. On the other hand he may surprise you with tickets to something wonderful. Enjoy each others company and don't sweat the small stuff.
