Hi.
Any public transport (not a bus) from Chicago to Green Bay, WI or close?

You can take Amtrak from Chicago to Appleton, WI, which is about 15 miles southwest of Green Bay.

I live in Green Bay (have family in Chicago); people come to Green Bay for Packer games in addition to using the city as a byway into beautiful Door County. WE NEED EFFICIENT TRAVEL TO & FRO! BRING BACK THE RAILS TO N.E.W.!!

If you do the connector bus from Amtrak, there is one that goes thru Green Bay insted of being left 15 miles away in Appleton. I think it's called Indian Trails Lines. There is no direct train service to Green Bay.

That would be great if there was a way to ride the rail from Chicago to Green Bay. It would have been a more relaxing journey to Packer games while we lived in Chicago!
