Well hopefully since it's tuesday there won't be a 2 1/2 hour wait...we'll see. Usually I would be taking public transport up there, but taking a cab tonight since I am with the fam. What would be the best way to tell a cab where we are headed from downtown.

^ Well of course it depends what time you are leaving at. But for the most part regardless of what time it is I would probably have them take L.S.D. and get off at Irving Park. Then take Irving Park to Southport and Southport south. ^

Just tell him to take you to Southport and Grace and he'll get you there.

I'd like to tell you that we got to Tango Sur via LSD and Irving Park and WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!!! We arrived at 330 and of course they are not open, so we went to Toon's and played shuffleboard! So rocked! Tango got us in upon opening and it is the best restaurant I have eaten at in Chi since I arrived!!! My parents were impressed, even saying it was FAR superior than Table fift two OR Topolobampo!!!!!!

I highly recommend it!

I am glad everything worked out. Where did you end up getting wine from?

The shuffleboard at Toons is a nice touch.

Across the street at Que Sirah. Great little wine place. They had a tasting that night at 6, and we had planned to go, but ended up getting into the restaurant right away. I got a bottle of great Pinot Grigio (forget the name) for 12 bucks. Less then the cost of 1 drink at a regular restaurant!

Also, what is your take on Tango Sur?
The key to getting into Tango Sur QUICKLY is to get there when they open. Generally, there is not much of a crowd for the first hour.

My biggest gripe is that the service is so slow.
